Australian Alpaca Wear

Our farm is located in Yinnar South Victoria where we farm over 60 alpaca. We use fleece grown from our own herd and other selected Australian breeders as alpaca is one of the rare natural fibres of the world highly valued for its beauty and warm silky softness. It is environmentally friendly, sustainable and hypoallergenic..

We also stock a range of woven and knitted alpaca goods such as socks, beanies, gloves, scarves, shawls, throws, etc all of which are made here in Australia and carry the Australian Made Logo.

Alpaca Fibre

Alpaca is an extraordinary natural fibre, sustainable and renewable. It is a soft, durable, luxurious and silky natural fiber. While similar to sheep’s wool, it is much warmer, not prickly, and contains no lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic. Alpaca is also naturally water-repellent. Alpaca fleece is made into various products, from very simple and inexpensive garments made by the indigenous communities to sophisticated, industrially made and expensive products such as suits.
